Behind This Website
This website is hosted on my own homelab instead of a tradtional web hosting provider. you might not be familiar with homelabs. It's basically a personal server to try out anything I like. Since i have a thing for devops it's the best thing i could hope for. Over the years maintining this server taught me a lot. Also someone who advocates for FOSS and anti big-tech It's been a blessing. I have localized my digital world and break free from the baggage of big-tech looking over my personal life I'll document more about it here on the future.

Why Self-host?
Most of our interactions on the web are with servers. Imagine owning one with freedom to do anything. Our passive interactions abstracts away the infrastructure thats running the wide internet that I'm so fascinated with. Troubleshooting it exposed me to Linux, Networking, Containerization and system administration in general. it gave me all the freedom I needed to experiment safely.
